WHAT DO I WANT? Do I actually WANT GEULA?

Do I know what that even means?

When I sit on the floor And say I really want the Bais Hamikdash do I really mean I want the fast to be over so I can eat?

When I say “IY”H We should all be in Yerushalayim… do I really mean I don’t know it’s really hot over there And my house is beautiful here.

When I say IY”H next year am I really saying “MORE COMFORT. MORE COMFORT!” What do I want?

Because … if we don’t want geula, we are not getting it. *I don’t care how much we are patting each other on the back and telling each other how great we are doing. Look how awesome we are.

But at the end of the day if you don’t want geula, WHY SHOULD YOU DESERVE IT?

Are we just sitting on the floor saying “Don’t kill us, just make us comfortable.”

Why do we think we are better than them (the generation of the spies) if at the end of the day we are making THE EXACT SAME CHOICE????

I do not want to get uncomfortable with G-d.

We are walking around living a life of what we can be as a shadow of a nation. We are happy with the smallest of things. We think we have made it. G-d says “you’re watching it (on your iPhone) do you have any idea what you once had. Do you have any idea what’s in store for you? Do you know what it’s like to have Me in this world?! That’s why we are on the floor. Tisha BAv is for one thing. RATZON. What am I playing for in my life? I’m fine being mediocre. I’m fine being comfortable. I want geula. I want it all. I want YOU.

What is Hashem asking for? Not much. He is asking fo everything. He is asking for a few Jews to spend one day of their lives STOPPING TO FAKE IT. TO GET REAL ONCE. STOP PRETENDING WHAT WE REALLY WANT IS HIM.

What we really want is to be comfortable

To allow us to want to just not be killed.. to allow us to want to be a little more comfortable. He put is right back to where we were (in the midbar, almost crossing into Eretz Yisrael). ITS TIME NOW!!!! All that’s left are the NASHIM TZIDKANIOS, not the females in their bodies, the females in what they uncovered. What’s left is for us to get real. to stop faking it. Can you imagine being this person. Thats why we are on the floor!!! Because G-d says, “until you become these people, I am not bringing it.”

Cause any father or any mother knows I WILL NOT LET MY KIDS BE WEAK!!! I WILL DO IT A MILLION TIMES, BECAUSE YOUR STRENGTH IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOUR WEAKNESS.

May this TishaBAv that we should stop faking it and start living it.
