Ratzo VShov Rabbi Labinsky
BY SHULI KLEINMAN
In these clips, the explanations help bring home the idea of having compassion on the Shechina in exile, choosing emunah rather than going with nature, submitting our will to Hashem’s will as our preferred cholce (because we ultimately cannot achieve our fulfillment as long as the Shechina is in exile), how to strengthen emunah in steps we understand and more.
When we yearn for Hashem’s light in this world it is He who answers. Yet we are only able to activate consciousness to do so because He is doing everything including giving us the strength to yearn to rise above our nature, to be integrated with Hashem Echad by living Torah in a way that our consciousness will be able to cling and remain connected to truth
Listen to these clips to really clarify.
RUN Ratzo
We have real free will.
We recognize Hashem is doing everything
We recognize that our true fulfillment comes through Hashem’s fulfillment of being revealed in this world, a rectification of the four roots of creation, water, fire, wind and earth, which we experience in a natural way that we choose instead to express through vessels of repair, Torah avoda chesed and mitzvahs
We choose to strengthen emunah rather than live within the nature of our limited existence
We ask Him to have compassion upon us, that what we want is to serve Him as a pure channel, a place where He may find a dwelling place in this world through which His Light may be revealed through our actions, speech and thoughts.
He has compassion on us. Hashem is doing everything except what we do (recognize Him out of awe and love and cry out to Him with our struggle and our will to serve Him.)
RETURN Shov
Our heart is healed, meaning we feel calm and full regardless of the outcome., and we move forward with Torah avoda chesed and mitzvahs with simplicity, trust, and faith in Hashem,
